🌧️ What is the IP rating? Can I fly in the rain?

Autel Alpha is rated IP55, meaning it is protected against dust and low-pressure water jets.

However:

  1. The IP rating may decrease over time due to wear and tear.
  2. Do not operate the drone in rainfall heavier than 100 mm within 24 hours.

🔋 Are the batteries hot-swappable?

Yes. You can replace one battery while the drone remains powered on:

  1. Remove one smart battery.
  2. Insert a fully charged battery immediately.
  3. Wait until the battery indicator lights are fully illuminated.
  4. Repeat the process for the second battery.

⏱️ How long does it take to charge a battery?

Each battery takes approximately 90 minutes to fully charge.

📡 What is the image transmission range?

In an open, unobstructed, interference-free environment:

  • FCC standard: Up to 15 km (9.3 miles)

🎮 Does the remote controller support battery replacement?

No. The remote controller battery is not replaceable.

Returns & Replacements

We offer a 10-day “buyer’s remorse” return policy.

  1. Unopened products can be returned within 10 days with no questions asked.
  2. Open or flown products may also be returned but must be in new working conditions and are subject to approval.
  3. Opened boxes are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
  4. Shipping costs are non-refundable if the item is returned in working conditions.

To qualify for a return, the product must:

  1. Be in original condition
  2. Include the packing slip, original packaging, and documentation
  3. Have no scratches, marks, or blemishes
  4. Have security tags still attached
  5. Not be altered, sized, or modified

Returns that do not meet these conditions may not be accepted.

Damaged Box or Damaged Product:

If you receive damaged or incorrect items, contact Customer Support within 4 business days of receiving your shipment so the issue can be corrected.

If the package shows extensive box damage, refuse delivery and contact Customer Support immediately.

Refusal of Delivery

If a package is refused for delivery for reasons other than damage:

  1. The customer is responsible for the actual shipping charges incurred.
  2. Once the package is returned to the warehouse, a refund will be issued to the original payment method.
  3. The refund amount will be purchasing price minus the actual shipping cost.

Incorrect Shipping Address

If a package is returned due to an incorrect shipping address provided by the customer:

  1. The customer will be responsible for additional shipping charges.
  2. This applies even if the order originally qualified for free shipping.
  3. Re shipping requests will require a reshipping fee.

If the package is returned and the customer does not contact support, the order will be refunded to the original payment method.

Shipping & Delivery

Orders are shipped under FOB Origin, Freight Prepaid, meaning the seller pays the shipping cost while the buyer assumes responsibility for the goods once they leave the shipping point.

Smartnestplus.com ships across the United States (excluding Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, and the Virgin Islands).

Free Ground Shipping

Free ground shipping is available for orders over $4,999 within the 48 continental U.S. states.

International Shipping

We ship exclusively within the United States and do not offer international shipping at this time.

  1. All duties, taxes, and import charges are the responsibility of the customer.
  2. Customers can contact support for specific international shipping quotes.

Refusal of Delivery

If a package is refused for delivery (unless due to shipping damage):

  1. The customer will be responsible for actual shipping charges incurred.
  2. Once the package returns to the warehouse, a refund will be issued to the original payment method minus shipping costs.

This policy helps reduce unnecessary shipping costs and allows us to offer competitive pricing.

Packages returned due to an incorrect address provided by the customer will be subject to additional shipping charges.

If the package is returned to our warehouse:

Order Processing & Delivery Times

  1. Orders ship only on business days (Monday–Friday).
  2. Orders placed before 12 PM EST and verified will ship the same business day.
  3. Orders placed after 12 PM EST will ship the next business day.
  4. Shipping and delivery information will be shared after the order is placed.
  5. Estimated delivery time is 5–10 business days.

Shipping times do not include the day the order is shipped.
